[Anime] Sword Art Online (Postponed to Summer 2012)

While moving a particular thread earlier, I learned that the light novel "Sword Art Online" contained some sex scenes. At first, I was wondering why this title sounded so familiar, until I realized I came across it in the latest issue of Megami magazine.

For fans of the light novel series, an anime adaptation of "Sword Art Online" is currently in production! Written by Reki Kawahara, the storyline of Sword Art Online revolves around the online gaming world of the same name. However, players who have accessed the game are unable to log out. Furthermore, dying in the game also means death in the real world.

Will Kirito, the main protagonist, be able to defeat the game and get out alive?

High chances of eithering censoring whatever small scenes they show and then making people wait for the BD releases or, indirectly point to the viewers about sex taking place.

If I am not wrong, Sword Art Online has been postponed to the Summer season of 2012, perhaps to avoid coinciding with Accel World.

Yeah I think this is the reason, since both Accel World and Sword Art Online is by the same guy and with a similar theme.

The PV doesn't show Kirito in his trademark black longcoat or Asuna's Knights of Blood uniform. Perhaps it's going to deviate from the novels? *still wonders what Starburst Stream and The Eclipse looks like*

I was going to say that this looks promising but no, this looks really fucking promising.

But I don't think the anime is going to start in media res. It might go in a linear fashion covering all of the side stories.

So it's going to go like

Chapter 2
Red Nose Reindeer
Black Swordsman
Warmth of Heart
Morning Dew Girl
Chapter 1
Chapter 3-25.

Even so it shouldn't cover more than 12 episodes since each side story seems like a 1 episode thing.

Then season 2 would cover Fairy Dance and maybe even Phantom Bullet.
