[Anime] Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun

I wonder if there is any hidden intention behind Yuzan's plan. Nonetheless, I still love the romance brewing between Haru and Mizutani. Though I feel that megane-chan is going to be jealous about Mizutani's close relationship with Haru, and probably vice versa. The preview...it was kinda random but they did mention that they are going to release the special episode(?) in summer 2013. Not sure if it's true but I'll just have to wait and see then. Good episode overall.

I still don't know how to feel about Yuzan. He seems like an obvious bad guy, but he seems willing to give Haru a chance at least. I mean...huh. I hate not being able to decide between liking or hating a character. Also...that "preview" was epic.

My Little Gangbanger? Opens Summer 2013? I'd pay to see that.

Was hoping to see that date, but maybe next episode.

A meaningful episode about overcoming the feeling of being outcasted. Though it was a little depressing towards the end when Mizutani said that she'd rather focus on her studies than loving Haru. At least the extra scene about Natsume trying to help Mizutani cheered me up a little. I guess I'll have to wait to see how the story progresses.

"Girls Feeling Melancholy". A more accurate title would be "Shizuku is a bitch". Oy. I was hoping this show would avoid the cliche, but no. Shizuku has to have the "He talked to another girl, I don't know jealousy, I'll revert to being a bitch" reaction. Wonderful. And little Ms. Glasses...Thanks to the Binbogami Ga VO connection, the second I heard that voice whining about not having friends, I felt that old hatred bubbling. Ugh.

Make up your mind, twintails. Sheesh. Haru should just ditch her and go with megane-chan.

Now Haru is falling for her but she isn't in love with him any more again. Just when we think they're getting close again the anime pulls one of them apart from it. I actually like that plot element, I look forward to seeing how she'll fall in love with him again. I doubt it will be something repetitive, maybe it will have something to do with the whole Haru's brother and father part which has been set up.

Shizuku being a smug, know it all bitch, admitting she likes looking down on people, and saying that's the right thing. I'm not sticking around to hear people act like this bitch is in the right. Frankly, Haru is too good for her.

So that's how Haru got all smart. Mizutani's still being cold towards Haru, but he's still going for it. Do your best Haru! And it's cute the way she blushed in the end. Can't wait for the next episode.

Actually, I think this is the best episode so far. The way the characters interact is so well done. The anime's soundtrack is amazing. I mean, listen to the BGM at 2:57-5:23. Those two songs are perfect. Can't wait for the OST's release, I'll download the shit out of it.

Two situations. One went terribly, the other could have turned out much worse. Poor Ooshima got caught up in a storm that was way too far over her head. I'm glad Shizuku realized she was being mean to people that see her as a friend. Shizuku's growth continues.

Now I'm curious about Haru's past about his previous school life. Even Yamaken was a little uncomfortable with Haru's brother around. I like Shizuku in her undead nurse costume. The ending was also nice. Looking forward to the next episode.

This one was good. brok3n pretty much said it all. Ponytail Chizuru? Yes please. Her confession scene was hilarious.

I'm guessing Natsume sucked and fucked her way into getting accepted to the high school. Hopefully some great doujin artist thinks the same way.
