Well, I haven't discovered any decent Shoujo anime to share as of late.
So I can't believe this hasn't made the master list either, it's a pretty good series that I recommend you watch if you haven't watched it yet.
Robin is pretty delicious.
Also the opening song Shell is pretty awesome too. 8)
Plot Summary:
Couple hundred years have passed, and people are hardly heard about witches nowadays. However, a leading secret organization in witch management is still exists. This Salomon's witch management organization, STN (not sure what STN stands for), has a task to capture the remaining witches. As a leading secret organization in witch management, STN's influence has reached the government and police organizations across the world.
As the recent change in Japanese society has led into increasing of witch activities, STNJ (STN Japan branch) assembled a group of hunters to draw a desperate last-minute fight against witches. However, the mysterious death of one member from the group has led to morale decrease into STNJ.
In order to help STNJ, a lone 15 years old replacement girl is sent by Salomon directly to Tokyo. Sena Robin, a craft user, can she be really the key to win this fight?
I enjoyed this series a lot in the beginning. It was an interesting concept and I thought Robin herself was an intriguing character. It's visually beautiful and the soundtrack was impressive. Unfortunately, I think it fell into a trap of predictability and repetition. The flatness of the romance between Robin and Amon didn't help that much, either. By the last couple episodes I was disappointed and a bit bored by it.
In the end I'd have to give it a 6/10, at best. Lots of potential gone to waste, really.
Huh, I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this already, since there is alot of good stuff here. SunQuan is right though, the end was a bit disappointing, but that doesn't stop Robin from being hot.
Spoiler:
I think she's even better looking with the glasses on, but I couldn't find a satisfactory picture of that on short notice. Good song too, nice job otaku.
Awesome oldies just keep popping up one after the other...
Kinda wish I introduced this one myself.
Anyways ...

^ That for starters.
Also not only does the OP song kick butt bot so does the ED.
As for the anime itself...
A bit on the slow side and indeed repetitive at times (though the word episodic would probably fit better)...
The sound is excellent and the art really gorgeous, using a dim color palette to further stress the overall eerie atmosphere of the show. While a bit static all in all, it allows for some very small filesizes. Besides, WHR was never designed to be an action-packed series to begin with.
Story-vise it wasn't all that interesting but it still had it's moments and one or two nice plot twists. Whether it draws you in, depends highly on whether you'll like the initial setting, pacing and cast. While we're at it - the characters are likable and hold many secrets but the only one truly developed is Robin. All are nicely utilized though and serve an important purpose.
What really shines in WHR is the obvious attention the creators put in all the small details, locations and overall mood. The series comes from the director of Ergo Proxy BTW and while both realities differ greatly, many similarities in style and storytelling can easily be noticed.
A very stylish (noirish even), melancholic series, full of mystery and moral struggles. May seem boring at first but definitely picks up in the latter parts resulting in a nice and fairly complete structure.
This is another one of those animes that appeared on adult swim late at night back in the day. Of course that was probably 2 years ago or more. From what I can remember, the story was somewhat detailed but I couldn't really get into it that much. Any of the action scenes weren't really thrilling or exciting at all and the plot was somewhat predictable. I can't really hate it because it was probably one of the first 5 animes I ever seen and helped me explore more in the genre. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.
I guess my definition of a good anime is one where you catch yourself laughing your ass off or saying out loud "damn, that was perfect" or is able to move you to tears. A good story and good artwork make a good anime but also having a kickass soundtrack and a broad range of emotions make it great.
Witch Hunter Robin was the Anime that got me into all of this stuff... and It still is my all time favorite. From the Art, to the characters and the story - I found that there has been many good Animes before and since - but none as good in my view.
I love this story so much, I have Robin tattooed on one arm and I have Amon on by shoulder blade.
