Kyoko is smart enough to get perfect scores with one night worth of studying so she should have no problems catching a cold. The problem is that she didn't catch the cold, she handed it to herself. Akari should always be healthy since even a cold would not notice her.
Ah, the "Fake sex" joke. Never gets old. Or maybe it does, but I'm immature enough that I bust out laughing every time. And that little exchange between Yui and Kyouko.
Kyouko: Yui, do you…love me?
Yui: I do.
Kyouko: REALLY?! Then let me see your ho-
Yui: No.
Classic. And Kyouko...she really does need a cure for stupidity. No wonder she got sick.
"Bun Bazooka!" That should teach that UFO to horn in on "Akarin" time. We get a large dose of DoubleTsun, which is kind of refreshing, and a large bit of jealously from Sakurako. Clearly, she don't like her woman hanging out with another one too much. Valentines chocolates are exchanged, ill feelings are fixed...and the mysterious older sister finally appears! Le gasp!
The bun rockets were the best part of the episode. It was great that Sako+Hina got much deserved screen time though. I forgot entirely about how terrible great Chinatsu is at...anything creative. Yui took one for the team.
Nishigaki's tragic past, revealed...or not. I don't know why, but I was actually buying that robotic puppy story. I should have known better. And seriously Himawari, watch your phrasing around a chick who is practically a walking bomb maker. Akari uses her magic offscreen powers to avoid getting soaked and...we actually hear Rise's voice! She sounds like I expected her to.
Mecharin was just as funny as the UFO last week. All the Ayano content was great. Rise could be heard in her previous appearances if the volume was turned way up but hearing her as more than a whisper is great. Shes still my favorite.
LOL
I laughed hard when the teacher told that long sad story and then said it was all a lie. And at the end when Kyoko said that Akari used the fact that she was off screen to avoid getting splashed. Great episode.
I really like how this series shows all the characters equally instead of just focusing on the 4 main characters.
