Its not the best ever but the confession was great. Even Kirino's response was her usual high tsun style. The bed and hotel scenes were really good. I want Kirino now.

Ruri's rejection was painful to watch. Kaede reminded me of echoeagle.

I'm certain Kirino haters enjoyed the fight. It was hard to watch Manami hold her composure for so long.

I approve of the ending. Now to wait for a flood of Kirino doujin at winter comiket.

I really loved this series. I also loved how they wrapped everything up.

Definitely one of the greatest series ever made.

It was awesome. I never rooted for Kirino. But after ep14 I rooted for her like no tomorrow. After kyosuke confessed I jumped screamed and clapped with joy.

Episodes 14-16

I need a while to let those episodes sink into my brain until I write my thoughts.

With that ending, the series has now made it into my top 5. 10/10.

A good closer to the story.

New girls plus Kirino have a love drama for Kyou(something)

Boy, have i ever been trolled by an anime production team more than by the ones who made this ending? I don't think so.
Spoiler:
I know that from an anime title like that one should not expect a different ending than an incestuos one but how badly did they handle it? They made it so extremely awkward and emotional for the characters (as such a forbidden relationship should be) and then they reset it back as if nothing happened except the fact that Kyousuke pretty much burned all bridges with 4 girls just to be what? her brother?
I mean, this is one of the worst possible endings that could be conceived in my opinion. I guess that many others will like it anyway but to me it seems as if the author chose to break a taboo only to retract his hands and fake ignorance afterwards.
It would have been much better even if incredibly unoriginal if it ended on a "it was all a dream" cue.
In fact i might as well convince myself of that... Yep it didn't happen, these 3 last episodes were all a nightmare of mine :V
I'll just pretend that Kyousuke got together with Kuroneko or Ayase and just forget this ending as it is a compromise and compromise is rarely any good.

Why are you denying the truth. The build up over the course of two seasons was for this. This is the climax. This is the true ending. This is it. The other heroines were only made to try to persuade Kyousuke. Kirino was the main heroine all along. Whether you like the main heroine or not is irrelevant.

The awkward emotions are what this series is made upon.
Extremely emotional is never a bad thing unless it's overdone.

If you didn't like the choice of Kyousuke, you could play the PSP Game to get a different route lol~

I do understand it, i just don't like how they handled it in the plot.

I would have liked it if after all that emotional turmoil they actually went trough with their relationship even if it was against everyone else opinion.
Instead we got a dead end. Kyousuke screws up all his possible love relationships just to be with her and in the end resolves to just be her brother.
I really like the Kyousuke character and i guess this ending disappoints me because i pictured him getting in a relationship with one of the girls and he got not as much as i would have liked.

BASICALLY THIS IS THE ENTIRE REASON WHY THIS SHOW BECAME TRASH TO ME.

Also, Kirino is a bitch tsundere although she does depict herself to be a general middle-early high school girl that's trying to start drama.

Just my thoughts that's a mindless dribble. Carry on without me.

Dammit I loved this series. I was hoping anime would actually show Kirino and Kyosuke together as an epilogue or something. Oh well, I loved this entire series from beginning to end. I was hoping to see Ayase one more time but oh well. Kirino... HNNNNNNNNNGGG.

Well the Ending

While Kirino was not my favourite girl, I did enjoy it. It was touching and emotional. Not many anime, if any (i have really only seen one), does the sister route. I do feel bad for the other girls, cept Manimi, like Kanako. Her confession gets like 30 seconds of screentime and barely any build-up. But it the end the anime did it's job and did it well 9/10 for the entire series.

Thankfully the psp game is mostly translated, so I can watch all the routes I want.

how he kissed her on the cheek after their promise... realistically speaking, I think it's only the beginning. How many more will happen when they grow up. Even without sex there's so much you can do in the gray line.

Although I'm a groupies of Ayase. When the 3 episode we're release I immediately watch episode 1, I was on doki doki heartbeating at high level peak and I can't wait to see the next episode... Is what thought. My greatest idiotic mistake was to fast browse the last 2 episode. I was in shock. Right now I seems can't double click the episode 15. Since I fast browse it the last episode I was What The F*KK!! I feel like contradicting my mind want to watch it but my body just won't move what my mind said. Ahahaha episode 15 wait for me when my mind and body is ready to watch ya! See you next 2 month...

I'm kinda glad I got the ending of the novels spoiled in a forum discussion before the final three came out. I pulled for Kuroneko until right there near the end when she got kinda. . strange. Shironeko was weird shit s'all I'm tryin' to say.

As for Kirino and Kyousuke, well, maybe their parents won't horrendously murder them?
