Only three shows I've ever watched have had the pleasure of making me shed a lot of tears a tear, and those shows are.

And Madoka Magica.

Angel Beats and Clannad were the only stories that really really made me cry, but these got me close.

Just some. There are others, I'm sure. But most of the time when an anime reaches a sad moment, I just feel a pain in my chest and no tears.

If it counts, nearly every single Miyazaki movie made me cry. Either tears of joy or nostalgia...or something.

The Persona 4 anime cause a few happy tears at the end but I was trying to be a rock while watching Anohana and failed.

I've gotten close to losing it with a few; Fate/Stay Night, Inu Boku SS, and some others I can't recall.

One did make me cry like a bitch though; goddamn Gosick.

No visual art form has made me cry but I do remember 5 cm per second made me depressed for like a day.

Just out of curiosity... What part of K-ON made you cry?
I do try to alot of slice of life(probebly because thats why I prefer to watch) but i remeber having a mental breakdown after the last episode of K-on..
