Applying Anime Knowledge

I like anime, especially subbed ones. And so are you guys. And watching a lot of anime gives us new things in mind. So the question is:

Have you ever used anything you learned in anime(or manga)?
This includes language, habits and more. Share yours!

I learned a lot of Japanese words through anime and some mannerisms and usage of chopsticks.

even since i saw love hina... i always get glasses like my hero Keitaro.

saying "itadakimasu" before every meal (i haven't learned using chopsticks and i never liked japanese food anyway [except beef bowls and sukiyaki LOL]), applying my small japanese vocab on common expressions, erm... that's it i guess. XD

Nothing that I can think of to be brutally honest.

Nope. I just watch anime for entertainment.
I do learn some things but I don't put it into use.

I wanted to say that but I don't wanna look weird when I eat with my family and friends. Well, I might with some friends.

I say itadakimasu when no one is around. Well pretty much I use Japanese language when I want too.. Going to Japan someday 8D

I learned all i know about the past from hetalia.

I have the habit of screaming BANKAI!! everytime I'm sparring with someone in Kendo class.

I learned some Japanese mythology, folktales, legends through various titles of anime.

Lots of basic Japanese culture and way of thinking. Many of which I agree with totally and have applied to my own lifestyle.
Plus, I've increased my poor Japanese vocabulary by 20 fold from when I started.

Heh, hell. I've seen anime that I'm pretty well convinced altered my life path. I don't want to say "It changed my life!*sniff", but that wouldn't be too far fetched.

And I'm still learning more from it...

I get my girlfriend by following Keima Katsuragi's capturing god technique.

As far as daily life goes I can't say I've really used anything from an anime or manga. If I've learned anything it all it's a few morals and a neat outlook on life. They really are just shows and books made for entertainment, you're not meant to learn much from them.

That is Epic Win.

I play games I've learnt from the Kaiji series'

The only thing I may of learned is some ghost stories and myths/legends. As for culture and food, and that kind of stuff, I picked up when I was in Japan. As my family is Asian, it's not that far off from another Asian culture.
