I thought the ending was okay. I mean come on, all 3 girls loving him equally? Besides the epic 3-piece kissing scene, gimme a break. That had to be the lamest cop out I've seen in my anime-watching career.
I'm sure it hasn't unless you've only been watching anime for the past year. A Harem End fits this show, and it was either that or still having the whole ambiguous relationships thing.

That, as well as the fact that one bell given to Kio-kun solved everything... whaaat? I expected more character development from Kio-kun, but he kinda remained the same, oblvious dolt the entire season. He's not like those weak WEAK harem leads, but still, what a disappointment from a series with great animation and sound/music.
I've got to agree here. I thought Kio would either get character development a bit later, or just be a "normal guy" played straight for once. Unfortunately, he became more dense as the series went on and never got a real personality. Even Rito from ToLoveRu has some semblance of a personality. Good thing I was watching the series for the girls.

I suppose what cheered me up was that the Dogisian woman and her annoying dog assistaroid finally got their just desserts.
You have no appreciation for Muttley do you? Didn't you ever at least watch "Dick Dastardly & Muttley In Their Flying Machines"?

Also the WhiteBase floaters and sentai costumes that the three girls used to fight against the Dogisian robots were epic tributes.
... Yeah ... about that ... that was an incredibly epic
Tekkaman Blade tribute. Man, I feel so old having someone think Tekkaman Blade as a simple sentai show. Jens ship might be a tribute to Gundam's mobile armors though.
