Axis Powers: Hetalia

Hetalia is a historical comedy in which the characters are personified countries. It's set mostly in the WWII era with some references back to earlier times and a few jokes dealing with current issues. Although this anime is humorous and fun, I would not recomend it if you are easily offended, since it does make fun of the countries a bit.

One of the things I find so wonderful about this series is that it really sparks an interest in history and current events (even if it is only for fanfiction ideas)

I watch this too and I agree it's fun. My favorite countries in Hetalia are Germany and Russia.

I love them too :3
Though England, Poland and France are probably my favorites.
