What makes this show brilliant isn't as much the story but the characters in it. Another example of genius story writing. I love how confusing it starts out and then you watch all the chips fall into place. It's definitely a story you must watch twice in order to catch everything. Top 10.

Isaac and Miria bring a fun and bright side to the otherwise dark series. The take on immortals is pretty interesting and the story is told from the different viewpoints of the characters, giving their perspective and really helping to build an attachment to them. A surprisingly excellent series that more people should check out. Has to be in my top 10 list.

It doesn't need to win an award in my opinion. It's still in my top ten.
I admit the first few eps was like -- huh. I was totally overwhelmed but the amount of scenes without any context. But, since it was a jigsaw-puzzle-plot, I gained to admire the storytelling they tried after the pieces fell together. Somewhat anachronistic, but hey, the series isn't named Baccano for nothing.
The characters are what makes this series shine the most -- and to that extent, the result of their actions and their interactions with one another. Truly a masterpiece.

Ahh.. Good ol Bacano. Just thought I'd drop a message and say that Durarara!!! actually has one or two cameos of Baccano in it XD. Its within the first 13 from memory but it was AWESOME!

I finished watching this anime yesterday and damn, so fucking awesome. Without a doubt one of the best animes ever, if not the best. The gore, the characters, the fights, the action and everything else was just so perfect.

It makes me sad that this thread is only two pages, and most of it is old. :c Baccano! is one of my favorite anime series, and it really sucks that a lot more people haven't seen it. I think it should be a lot more popular than it is.

i was searching the net and couldn't details about it..
it's just so sad for it to not have a sequel, and to think that it's a great series, :(
