I'm surprised that no one is even talking about the actual plot and show...
I want to spark again the discussion of this thread considering the next episodes will probably only be released in the dvd's or in a few months as no news whatsoever to their release has been given.
From what I've gathered (without having read Kizumonogatari past chapter 4; thanks again baka-tsuki) this episode reflects the relationship between Hanekawa and Araragi.
It is clear if you guys go back to every encounter that he and her have had starting back at the Nadeko Arc that whenever she is with Araragi she starts having these headaches which are a symptom of her "meddlesome cat" which in turn makes Hanekawa into an "evil" (sort of a Black Hanekawa even though she's so white :D) entity.
Thus we can come to the conclusion that the person responsible for Hanekawa's stress (this time around) is Araragi-kun. We can furthermore speculate that it's actually Araragi's relationship with Senjougahara. Is it jealousy, realised feelings etc. I don't know. However what is pretty obvious is that there is something going on between Hanekawa and Araragi even though Araragi constantly denies it.
Araragi feels that he owes a huge debt to Hanekawa due to their chance meeting last spring. He is pretty sure that he owes her his life and until that debt is paid off he will do anything to make sure he repays it.
I might go on and speculate that it's pretty much the same situation as to how Senjougahara regarded Araragi after he saved her. Remember how reluctant (actually uncomfortable or unwilling would probably be a better choice of words here) he was to her advances/flirting and even how he reacted when she confessed to him?
Again speculating, but I believe that Hanekawa likes Araragi more than a simple friend but due to Araragi's attitude towards the help she gave him that resulted in saving him she can't be honest nor actually confess to him due to the fear of him only accepting//refusing due to his attitude towards her.
So I'm back to saying that Hanekawa's stress this time around is due to Araragi.
With that being said, I'm wondering how episode 14 will be and what will happen between our protagonists.
So please post what you think will happen? Also what are your actual thoughts of episode 13?
I was eagerly awaiting when someone would post something about episode 14. Most of what I believed would happen in 14 actually happened.
Only one real question remains. What is this weird scheme that Oshino is trying to pull?
Personally I think that he's trying to let Araragi deal with everything on his own. Remember how he's always saying that Araragi always comes to him for help? And how that shouldn't be how he should deal with things? Oshino is more reliable than any other character in Bakemonogatari (at least that's the feeling we get from how Araragi describes him). Taking that into account, he would never let the cat slip nor show so little concern for Shinobu.
All in all I think he's trying to make Araragi learn a lesson. In more than one way. We can easily perceive that he kind of figured out that the Class President "likes" Araragi and that he was actually her reason for stress.
However, I am still wondering how Araragi will react to Hanekawa's "confession". I mean he's obviously going to refuse it but the problem is how everything is going to end up tied up. Remember:
-Araragi feels a deep devotion and thinks he owes Hanekawa for his life no less.
-Araragi tries to help anyone out of any burden they might have, even more so because he is a "demon" himself.
-Araragi is an honest person and wouldn't betray Hitagi.
With all that how can we expect him to wrap this problem up? He obviously wants to help Hanekawa but he "can't" do it without Shinobu. Since if he accepted Hanekawa's confession he would be betraying Hitagi's feelings.
Anyways I've made a wall of text to be repetitive. Hope this sparks some discussion at the very least.
