Well, people learn things but that doesn't mean they follow it all the time, it's like learning the truth but still deny it.
Which completely amounts to nothing, clearly contradicting the basic aspects of learning. Imo, we don't exactly learn something from simply knowing about it. We could only say that we did learn something after being able to accept the facts and putting such knowledge into use. We didn't just go to school to study and learn things by the book right? We also performed various kinds of experiments and countless of practical activities and along with those things, we came to learn the importance of being independent, being responsible, being punctual, etc etc; All in preparation of when we finally step out into the vast (overly populated) world as adults.
Please tell me that you get what I'm saying...

He did learn it from Meme but apparently he still wanted to save everyone he could, and he did get a verbal slap from Suruga reminding him of his priorities. But I still think he accepted it somehow when he tearfully apologized to Suruga.
All that he ever accepted was the fact that he no longer was capable of saving the other person. And whether or not Oshino reminded him, it's not like he's completely unaware of it himself. I'd say it's within his personality or principles in life, perhaps, that he cannot restrain himself from sticking his nose into other people's business or oddity for that matter. It's not something that one can change overtime; not even from the cruelest of all experiences.
Btw, did he really "tearfully" apologize to Kanbaru?

I wonder how his attitude about this will play out in the succeeding oddity, er, episode. It's the class rep episode part, am I right?
Tsubasa Cat is indeed Hanekawa's arc. I do wonder if there's gonna be some sort of a dilemma here which should closely resemble that of the previous arc, wherein Araragi could prove to me that he did learn something from the past scenario/incident.
Yeah, I took what you said into consideration and while I can't completely agree with you as you must have noticed in my response, I'm not saying that you were totally wrong about everything.
