Biggest plot twists in anime/manga

Recently I read and watched "The Future Diary" it was mysterious but it had so many twists it made me laugh, cry, and smile.

Anyway, put down the anime/manga in your own opinion, that had the turns, twists, curves well whatever!?

Mawaru Penguindrum, a short 24 episode anime that came out last season. In my honest opinion, it very could be the best anime of the last year. I dare say it is better than madoka, which means a lot. Every time you think you're finally going to make sense of what's happening to the main characters, something pops up to turn it upside down completely. After the first few episodes the pacing is amazing, and with each couple of episodes you feel like the world's going to end. (figuratively speaking of course)

Biggest twist I guess would be when Meryem changed from a cruel and violent guy to someone who would use his remaining time alive just to play a simple game with the woman he cares about, in Hunter X Hunter

Or in Bleach. Aizen Vs Ichigo. Who won....?(Drumroll~~~~~)Urahara Kisuke of course!

My biggest twists in mangas came from either Medaka Box, Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) and Shingeki no Kyojin.

Boku no pico. Wow really didn't see that coming.

Future Diary truly was a strange series...Yuno made it that way.

Yup... FD's plot twists damn near twisted my head off but hey, at least it ended well, and besides she's yandere and that makes up for everything :)

Medaka Box isn't just a plot twist. It has complete plot overhauls and genre shifts bigger than Negima.

I've been wanting to read/watch that...Is it good?
Anyway Negima's plot isn't very clear in my perspective...I mean he's trying to look for his father...he ends up in some magic world and it turns out it was Mars...I was having a WTF moment reading the volumes.
Favorite Character: Konoka/Nodoka/Evangeline

Medaka Box is ok. Its funny and has as much of a 4th wall as Deadpool. It goes far out of its way to make it deconstruct as many tropes as possible while telling you that. Also it has direct references to other shonen jump mangas because the characters actively talk about Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, DBZ stuff like that. Just so you know, after chapter 9 or so, the genre changes so quickly you don't even know how to react.

BTW Negima was originally marketed as a spiritual successor to Love Hina, but Ken Akamatsu pulled a quick one and pretended to write a love story, but instead wrote a epic action romance adventure thingy with fan service. If you need help understanding Negima, I can fill you in on some stuff.

Mostly sci-fi and mysterious anime tends to have a lot of plot twists.

I read that in the 1-3 volume it showed the makings of Asuna she originally was supposed be Ayaka and Ayaka was suppose to be violent like Asuna

well, i guess that he liked playing GO with that girl from the beginning so that ending didn't surprise me that much. However what really surprised me is when Gon an Killua went to meet Gin and it turned out to be Kaito, also when Gon transformed to defeat Pitou that was totally unexpected :O

That was an insane twist.
