i remembered from the last comiket they announced it's going to be in an OVA and DVD.
maybe they changed their mind and decided to air it in tv then.

Don't worry, it's still gonna be a 5-episode OVA and it's still coming out on sale in DVD/BD format on the date that was specified. Airing it on TV 3 weeks prior to its release is good promotion.

One of the greatest Anime ever. The Dub is also awesome. The Manga is great too. I recommend Black Lagoon as high as I can.
