>BRS GOT RUN OVER >BRS GOT MOP TO THE FLOOR >BRS GOT STAB MULTIPLE TIMES EXCEPT TO THE END >HOLY SHIT BALLZ, THIS GIRL IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.
Yeah this anime is awesome, the girl on the wheelchair is creepy.
And why is Dead Master is in chains? Well then i have to find out
in the next episode then :O
The pacing feels better than the OVA. Although, if the BRS world is a visualization of the emotional conflict, then the last BRS scene is pretty out of place. The CG is blending in pretty well and at least the BRS world is well-animated. Not going to lie, seeing Chariot busting shit up had me pretty excited by the end of the episode.
And then Chariot got her head lopped off. Well, BRS was bound to get fed up of getting the crap beat out of her. Hopefully, this will mean a little less screaming. A little bit of crazy, manipulative bitch is fine, but let's not have so much emotional baggage there.
I also laughed after Chariot ran off the cliff Wile E. Coyote style, then landed on a small chuck of land, which seemed safe for a moment. Then it collapsed from underneath her.
I have to say, after watching the OVA, I wasn't expecting much from this show, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the last two episodes. It's so much better.
Definitely gonna continue watching this, and for those that are curious, it's quiet a bit better then it's predecessor.
To be honest, i never expect that there will be a drama (between kuroi and takanashi) beside the fighting scene in this anime. The parallel world also become a plus point for this anime. Gonna watch till the end :)
I see. She sounded diffrent on the OP of the series. lol.
OT : Episode 2
Spoiler:
wow. So much better than the OVA. I mean seriously, the series still have more impact than the OVA. Also there's only a little hint about the world(The world where BRS are). I'm kinda currious about that world.
Anyways, this anime is turning out to be quite awesome. I preferred the style of the OVA, but that's a minor quip in light of an unexpectedly grim story and kickass fight sequences.
Mato made some hilarious faces this time. I wish they played Saya off with much more subtlety. BRS crashed the party after having enough of her ass getting kicked. So, after she blows the place up and kills many of those cloaked girls, she extends her hand towards one of them. And she has the most pissed off face while doing it! "I killed all your friends, now take my hand, bitch." BRS just decapitates her anyway.
Feels like things are about to start up. I liked how Mato and her childhood friend started crying together at the same time, made me laugh.
And it feels like Kohachi is starting to make things interesting, as for all of those who laughed at her like that... fucking dicks. I bet the boy himself didn't wanted to do it, he was probably pressurized.
My God, this is getting dark. I thought Kagari was creepy but Saya just completely blew her creepiness out of the water in her scene with Kohachi. Speaking of Kohachi, I pity the poor girl. :( I interpret the scene of BRS killing all those cloaked kids as Kuroi taking out her frustrations on those kids who humiliated her so I feel better about it. :3 So Saya is Black Gold Saw's counterpart...? BGS looks a little too young (not that I'm complaining, she's hotter that way) to be her but I'll accept it. Was kind of hoping this anime wouldn't recycle the subplot of Yomi being jealous of Yuu but I guess they need to get Strength into this somehow. Action sequences were pretty lacking but it was a good episode regardless.
So I've just finished watching episodes 2-4 (saw episode 1 a while ago). This is definitely one of the best anime airing so far. The story is amazing and told really well (via the actual story and the fights), and the artwork is beautiful and very original.
Okay, we're going somewhere with the BRS world. I wonder what kind of change is taking place ... Does it have anything to do with Yuu not existing anymore and having no shadow? Also, Saya really needs to turn down the evilness. It's like getting hit over the head with a brick now.
I've been sick of waiting for Commie subs to release their version so I just got the WhyNot subs version instead.
Episode 5
Spoiler:
Some crazy shit going down in this episode - the plot is really developing now regarding that other world. That strangling part took me by surprise, I was not expecting that. That woman is a bitch. Also, when Mato started crying as a result of seeing what had happened in that other world, that was pretty emotional - the artwork is beautiful and the animation is done really well. Looking forward to the next episode as usual.
BRS strengthens up with the powers of Chariot and Dead Master, but still winds up getting the shit beat out of her even more. She just can't catch a break, can she? I'm kind of torn about Saya. I don't really know if I preferred her being Miss ObviouslyEvil or being SympathicVillain. The nature of the BRS world is up in the air. BRS wants to destroy that world, but what happens then? People lose their memories/feelings when their counterpart is killed. But what's the point of maintaining such a world anyway aside from keeping Other Yuu alive? And just who is the current Yuu?
