The episode was pretty slow but it's the first episode of an arc that isn't predicated on some gigantic happening so they naturally need to build up some drama.

I found it enjoyable. I knew Shinji & Co's past from the manga but it was still fun to see them and some other characters in motion again.

lol Anz , this ain't Filler , this game from the manga itself, If you talk about filler episodes it's episodes that the anime made extra so that they don't catch up too fast to the manga. But yeah i didn't like it this much because they pact alot of extra shit into it(i guess to make the anime take longer to catch up aswell) but yeahh it's still nice to see the past of shinji and the rest ^^
