Barragan's power was to increase the age of anything at an extremely accelerated rate. Everything could fall victim to such an ability, because everything ages.
Hachi sent over his arm, which had been infected with Barragan's death breath, and it touched Barragan, infecting him. Thus, Barragan started to age rapidly, and since he only liked to pretend that he was a god, he presumably turned to dust, his life coming to an end.

This chapter was ok a little cool kill him with his own attack a classic that isn’t old yet. Though I’m a little worried that the Vizards are going to take out the Espada to quickly. I really didn’t care of Barragan a little too full of himself for me.I think Barragan is the only one who'll get killed quickly. His power is what made his fight short. With a power like that, there's no way to have a long, drawn-out fight.
Rather than his power, I'll say its his attitude. He's extremely arrogant, I think we can all agree on that, and that is what brought his downfall as opposed to his power. His powers are pretty hax, imo. He could have finished Soi Fong off a lot earlier if he wasn't as arrogant.

I love how everyone complains that the fights last forever and when one end’s quickly everyone is complaining it didn’t last long. Because Barragan really deserved much more attention. Compare how much space took his fight with Hachi and Soifon and how much space took his Tiger_or_whatever fraccion guy.
So yeah the unsignificant fight take too damn long and the important ones are fucking short.
