I've been seeing a lot of posts saying that Ichigos mom is actually Aizens sister. And that Aizen killed her by sending the Hollow. Something like his mom knew Aizens weakness. Just a theory is all.

We cant say for sure, Isshin is still hiding a whole lot of things from ichigo.
I personally think Isshin was one of the royal guards who eloped with Ichigo's mom who is royalty. They had to flee to the real world to avoid punishment which is why Isshin had to lose all his shinigami powers to keep from being found. Also explains why the old 12th division cap got promoted to zero squad.

As K-A said we cannot be sure. They have left many blanks about the story line this good be a mad-lib with how much they aren't telling us.
