Trolling aside, Ichigo's wish has always been to have the power to protect his friends.

I agree with you but I'm not sure if that is his wish now. He was ok losing his shinigami powers, he was ok with telling everyone what he was doing up till now.

Don't you think a major change must have gone in him psychologically? Because in the end, he did "beat" Ulquiorra with "raw power" and that didn't make him happy one bit.

I think it's too early to figure out Ichigo's current true wish.

Well you have to take into account Aizen was the last enemy that had to be taken care of, at this point I don't really think Ichigo believes he needs to protect anyone anymore now that everything is safe. At this point his wish could just be that things go back to normal or something. I figure the hogy did merge with him but won't really recharge the shinigami powers until the next big enemy shows up or something if bleach really is going for two more arcs like everyone says.
