Honestly, if Kubo makes this battle a fast one with an overwhelming Ichigo...

I wouldn't mind AT ALL, on the contrary it'd be such a nice change of pace that I'd gladly accept it.

But yea, I guess we'll have the usual shonen-style combat:
-A arrives stronger than B
-B gets stronger than A
-They both get on the same level
-MC wins.

This fight with Aizen has been going on for a very long time, the only difference now is that there's someone who can put up a fight. It would be nice to see a "I'll end this with one attack" scenario work (Final Getsuga)


Speaking of the ultimate Getsuga Tenshou, any thoughts as to whats changed? While I suspect that it's just exponentially more powerful now, maybe Kubo will throw in something new. (Hoping for some kind of Cero/Getsuga mix)

I guess it will be a sort of Bankai_v2, where all his reiatsu (coming from his hollow and shinigami parts) got sealed inside the sword when he defeated his inner combo... by calling out the final Getsuga, he'll release all of that shit at once. Which will be one nasty blow, considering that by Kubo Mathâ„¢, 1/4 of his reiatsu equals the captain level.

Though by the same Kubo Mathâ„¢ Aizen will survive and pull off the old "that all you got, kiddo?" and go all JUST AS PLANNED.

That... hopefully not, but I feel that's going to be the case. Nice computation.

I sort of get the feeling that Ichigo will use the Final Getsuga Tenshou, it'll severely wound Aizen but not kill and Ichigo will somehow lose the transformation(of his sword) and be weakened while someone has to hold Aizen off while he tries to get it back or something crazy like that.

Enter Squad Zero and the 150 chapters explaining them before the fight with Aizen is finished.

Just kidding. I honestly do expect this fight to be either finished next chapter (doubtful) or come to a conclusion in the next few chapters (a more likely outcome)

I hope more for Grimmjow coming in as a vasto lorde from eating the remains of the espada or something like that lol

But yeah, it's somewhat doubtful that Ichi will finish the fight in the next chapter, I think we all remember the last time he said something about finishing something quickly....getsuga to the side of yammy's head followed by him getting slapped around and saved.

Kubo forgot about him.

Just like he forgot about Yammy and Zaraki and Byakuya, probably won't see the conclusion to that either like Ichigo against the Zangetsu/Hichigo fusion. Unless they're both shown in those flashbacks Kubo loves so much lol
