I kind of felt a deja vu for this chapter (and taking up the last ten-or-so chapters). I was reminded of one of Yu Yu Hakusho's story points. There was a point in that story where Yusuke has just defeated Toguro in the Dark Tournament a few months back, then after some moments of relative normal life he is suddenly challenged to a fight by three teenagers possessing superhuman/psychic powers and who end up taking him hostage and his friends go fight.

It's kind of similar. It's eerie, but I can't put my finger on it.

On the chapter, I feel that Riruka is a dark horse here. Not to win, but to defect. Other than this and a bit of deja vu, the next few chapters will be in for some fightin'. Gah, only if that old fart general cared to send six captains and a batallion to whip some Xcution ass instead of two captains and some subordinates, this would've been over in six chapters max. But oh well, we'll just have to keep up with it.
