Just finished reading the first chapter. Pretty intersting so far. It seems to revolve around a high school hacker, who goes by the name "Falcon" and a mystery woman who seems to be some sort of assassin.

Dude, that shit hot to death son, sorry about that, I've been saying it a lot for some reason. I read the first 4 chapters and I'm like, "Whoa." I don't know if its the end of the 3rd chapter or what, but something really crazy happens. I don't want to spoil it, but I was addicted after I saw it.

Bloody monday has about 8 volumes out. I do not know what a volume equates to when we are talking about a weekly manga but I will assume that the 8 volumes means that there are around maybe 56 chapters. There is already some live action drama about this and yet no anime. When I originally read this I thought about Deathnote at first but

The gore is pretty disturbing to me but it seems to be a pretty good manga even tho people already died in the those few chapters o-O

I read this a few days ago, to chapter 14, and was impressed; when I glanced over the summary, it thought that it would be some sort of action hero self-glorification, and moved it to the backburner. But when I read it, while still not quite realistic by any means, the author gave enough depth to the character to actually motivate me to suspend disbelief. Surprising enough for the genre, and worth the recommendation on the basis of that alone, but the story was fast paced and entertaining as well. The unique aspects and, although to a much lesser extent, ingenuity of the various vignettes and plots kept me awake, while a desire to actually see events to their conclusion kept me reading. The intellectual in me is offended by the simplicity, but that's the only real complaint I can offer. Is it really that easy to bring the world's networks to your feet?
I really wish that the main character was slightly more aware of the world for a supposed hacker genius. Glad that he's finally caught on to the gross uncertainty of the two day span between the appearances of Maya in Japan.
