Well. I hope you guys enjoy some enlightening insight, because I sure did. I'm no buff in philosophy, but these are fascinating to read.

I don't know why, but I love Masakaki for some reason.

Episode 10:
Spoiler:
Mikuni = good or bad?
Kimimaro is a dumb fool.
The guild has been broken down, and Satou killed. What happens next? Kimimaro to Mikuni, "bring it on you sonofabitch, I won't let you take the future to protect the present!"
Implying that Mikuni is taking the future to save the present, If Kimimaro stops it, then wouldn't C take over Japan?
Something epic is gonna happen next episode.

Gah, I typed out a whole post and browser crashed. Don't want to retype this whole thing...

Anyway, there's a lot of philosophy in this show. If you just think this is about some shounen story where you battle to win money, you aren't seeing it.
Spoiler:
Print money to save the present, but waste away the future, or let C "happen" and wreck the present. Either way is "bad."

While Kimimaro is portrayed as the "good guy" and Mikuni the "bad guy," Masakaki is the oddball. Especially in this episode, whith the whole "Kimimaro's card is Black" thing.

Actually, none of the characters are really completely "good" or "bad." Is Kimimaro really "good" for wanting to save the future if it's affected by "C"? Is Mikuni "bad" for screwing around with the present to prevent "C"?

Anyway, we see Q finally lose it and take out the IFM lady in one hit. >_>

EDIT: IMF lady is "Jennifer Sato"... Had to look that up.

The last episode should be quite interesting. I'm betting on some sort of neutral "you win but didn't win" kind of thing. Not sure how to describe it.

I forgot this anime while waiting for the episodes to pile up. I'm seriously missing a lot.

[font=verdana][color=green]I hate to say it, but I've dropped this series. It promised to be something different; something other than the usual shounen anime out there. Even though it's only 11 episodes long, it's too much for me to withstand.

Maybe by destroying the economy it'll save Japan? I don't know but it seems reasonable enough.

In the end, the US dollar wins! MWUHAHAHA! No but seriously, this episode was pretty awesome. After watching the ending, I think that the possibility of having a second season is imminent. It's kind of funny to see one of the most valuable currencies turn into the least valuable! Also, I liked how in episode 10 America completely pwnd the [C] rush thing. Things were pretty depressing in the anime for a while, but it all got better in the end. Good anime!

Also, the English voice acting in this was very good! Did the producers hire native English speakers?

I really enjoyed watching this anime, but somehow I'm not completely satisfied with the ending - cant really tell what I miss but one thing could be that the epilogue was to short. Oh well I cant change anything anyway.
I'm looking forward to summer season.

Why didn't he called Hanabi? When he bought back the future did the present change? It feels like Hanabi doesn't know him on the epilogue... anyways the ending was good and is open for S2... If they wont be making a S2 then the epilogue was short... I like to know what Msyu embodies on Kimimaru's future... too bad though

Final Impressions:

C is an incredibly well-thought out series. The ideas and symbolism are plentiful and very well done. However, it lacks heavily on the execution on nearly all fronts. It will pass as a mediocre but ambitious show, for me.

i really dont get the ending,

i was hoping his future asset will turn into a REAL girl and he will meet it in the future, i dont really get the ending, does hanabi not know him anymore? and hana looks grown up (teacher?),who's house did he visit? why did he hide on a tree? I hope there will be a 2nd season for this

That ending felt so...empty. And what's with shows not showing a kiss? An important one at that as well. C'mon Japan.
