How about venturing on a little movie escapade. Who doesn't love movies anyway? :)

STORY:
A huge monster suddenly appears on the top of a building in an ordinary provincial town. The local Defense Forces go into action, and the people of the town are in uproar. A young girl, Yuki, happens to know the secret is that Tetsu keeps a strange creature called Cenco. Yuki, being brave-hearted and naturally inquisitive, becomes fascionated by Tetsu and his unusual pet, Cenco. A mysterious boy - who has control over the huge monster threatening the town - then appears and an unexpected battle begins. Who do they fight for? Who are they? By getting involved with a battle, how is Yuki's fate going to be?
It's about time, finally. All I can say is that Atsuya Uki really took his god-given time in making this movie so it better be damn good. Well, considering that it was done by a one-man (wrecking) crew, that on its own fucking deserves some recognition and thus I'm pretty much compelled and not to mention, very intrigued in seeing this finished product.
-It opens on August 22[/h] in Japanese theaters.-
* A special anime-film to commemorate the 1000th[/h] Thread/Topic that's ever created in this section. (despite all of the misplaced threads/topics found in here somehow)
another one to look forward to other than summer wars and i can't wait to watch them....XD
been a big fan of hayao miyazaki's works and have been searching movies of the came caliber as his and i found one...
Hm... really, there is a serious shortage of quality anime movies, this one... um, hopefully can satiate some of my hunger for that. I mean, just the music from the clips gave me an idea that this one should be fine.
Even if you tell me that, there’s nothing that I can do about it now. But if you do believe that it’s still a good idea to inform a mod about a repeat thread that already has a decent number of post (compared to the original that doesn’t have any), then please go on right ahead. :) -I'm down with whatever they decide to do since I did overlook the thread anyway.
I really wonder how this movie fared in the Japan... Nevertheless, I'm highly impressed with its creator whom in fact did everything all by himself.
Also, the main cast: (plus their most recent notable role for me) Hiro Shimono as Tetsu (Dan JD / Basquash!) Kana Hanazawa as Yuki (Sharon Rainsworth / Pandora Hearts) Ryohei Kimura as Shū (Akira Takizawa / Eden of the East) Satomi Moriya as Kei (N/A)
PS: I would also recommend all of the TV series I've mentioned here. (Every single one of them's AWESOME!) :D
The one thing that is attracting me to this movie would be that Ryo (supercell) is the person behind the music of this production. He's really moving up after creating the end theme to Bakemonogatari. This is going to be something I'll keep an eye out for whenever I have the time.
Interesting. Will keep an eye out for this one. Though there are many themes which has to do with "owner's monsters rampaging through the city and the monster has to get put down by the local authorities and usually has a sad end" story, I never get tired of them...
