Characters You Love

Yuno from Mechamimi. Hotness material x 100. She's on par with Chacharmaru! Can't decide! I CAN'T DECIDE!! *runs in circles*

I like characters that usually have some quirk, or funny little adage to their personality. A character can be deep, thoughtful,creative and have the best dialogue ever, but I don't care if their isn't something unique about them.

I'm afraid I must say Konata from Lucky Star. Why aren't you real!?!? Would marry her.

And Aruruu from Utawarerumono! -_- I want her to call me Onii-chan. Damn she's cute.

Others, eh... Fuuko from Clannad... Saber from F/SN... Oh, and if I were a girl, I'd easily fall for him: Onizuka Eikichi from GTO =D

Gah, I'm getting greedy. Let's just settle for these.

I rarely ever post on the forums but Shota convinced me to do so for once. I've got this humongous list of characters to pick from but at any given time, there will be the top 10, 5 male and 5 female.

At the moment, the top 5 Males would be, (in no particular order)

1) Hakuoro from Utawarerumono
Dude wears a cool mask, has a harem and an empire. What more could he ask for? I really liked the idea of him housing a God inside of him. Hakuoro grows throughout the whole time period of Utawarerumono, due to him having amnesia, and it really endeared him, being very willing and all to take the reigns of the country and turn it in the right direction, whilst maintaining a good family. Now that's a family man.

2) Alucard from Hellsing
This dude is simply win, win expressions, win abilities, win quotes. Plus he's a vampire. I found his attitude and demeanor very intriguing, and I believe Vampires should be more of this variety, not some pansy that shines in the light. He has displayed various ways of using his various powers and up till now, more and more are surfacing with each passing book. That's awesome because who knows what powers Vampires have?

3) Char Aznable from Gundam
Out of all the characters from Gundam, I like Char the most. He's your atypical baddie that takes on all the blame so that others can prosper, sure call me twisted, but that's what's needed sometimes for change to happen. He also wears a cool mask, has awesome piloting skills and has a vendetta against a boy who hid his Gundam in a hole. What's not to like?

4) Archer from Fate/Stay Night
I find this character to be very unique, being able to construct weapons of any kind once he has seen or felt them. He's also an Anti-Hero, which appeal to me more than your usual good guy. And he has a cool outfit. Overall, his character resembles mine very much, with the kind of laid back attitude until I really have something to do, though of course I'm not as awesome. XD.

5) Maebara Keiichi from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
After all those imbalanced characters with l33t skills and stuff, I just had to pick a normal guy to spoil everything. Keiichi is the funkiest guy you could get back in the days before computers, being made to wear swan shaped swim trunks and all, and I find that very refreshing in an anime filled with violence, murder and gore. Even though that happens, he also knows when to get serious about things, and is willing to go through a lot to save his friends from either outside threats or themselves.

Now that the guys are over, lets get on with it and go to the girls, as above in no particular order.

1) Nerine from Shuffle!
It was through her that me and Shota became the buddies we are now (RL, might you). This girl was honestly my first love for an anime character. Her design appeals to me a lot, she's kind, honest and willing to strive to please the ones she loves. She has Crimson eyes, has a voice that's so melodic it's called the Angel Bell among DEVILS, she herself is a Devil and her dad is the King. It's crammed into a little, awesome package called Nerine, and I adore her for that.

2) Klan Klein from Macross Frontier
This girl is an oddity, due to her having Micron and Meltrandi forms. I found her 2 sides to be quite entertaining, the Micron to be quite likable due to her quirkiness, and the Meltrandi form for being the "oh so badass" pilot. These 2 joined together are a win combination for me, and here she is now. Plus she's Tsundere =D.

3) Sonozaki Mion from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
I fell for her cause she's Tsundere, simply because of that. Long hair, busty and TSUNDERE. That's all I need to satisfy myself. Plus she's one of the more sane ones in an Anime universe that is as screwed over as Higurashi. I can't remember much, but I do think that she didn't kill anyone in both seasons, rather tried to reason with them to stop doing these kinds of things. China dress swimming costume FTW.

4) Ryuugu Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
This girl is cute beyond belief, but cross her and you're in for a world of pain, death and slaughter. Although her favorite quote is a little irritating to me, she still shines through, because her normal attitude is kind of shy, and I adore shy girls alongside my Tsundere/Yanderes. This girl combines them both, and she wields a wicked sick Billhook Cleaver. I fell for her the moment I laid eyes on her...

5) Senjougahara Hitagi from Bakemonogatari
The latest addition to my Top Ten. She wields almighty power in the form of stationery and she is also responsible for the most epic quotes I've seen from a girl in recent anime. Coupled with her being a self-declared tsundere, long hair and devotion to Araragi (CURSE YOU), I cannot get thoughts of her out of my head, and even got to calling certain shades of purple, Senjougahara purple to fellow men. HITAGI CRAB!

Honorable Mention:
Taokaka From BlazBlue

Shota got me in this game, since we're classmates and him going NOEL IS WIN! AGGHGHHHH!!!!1 all day. I decided to give this game a shot and IMMEDIATELY picked Taokaka. Cute Voice (Same voice actor as Hitagi Senjougara), Epic Skills, L33t Speed and Her Weird/Cute Clothing style keep me coming back for more. Her face is always covered by her cowl, leaving her with a row of teeth and 2 glowing red eyes. She is rising in the ranks faster than I would have expected and I have no regrets about it. Her Character can be discovered more in the game, but I unfortunately do not have it but what I could learn from the short quotes is that she's a very simple person who wants to see the sky over her town again. Tao is Taokaka.

Thank you very much for reading this far, as I felt that just posting their name and a short reason was not NEARLY enough for my favorites. I might just post more on these forums, if Shota can get me going. Rainy Devil. There are many more I could write about, but we'll just leave it at that for now.

Jin (Samurai Champloo)

-A silent wanderer with no home. A cold warriors who strikes down his foes with but a flash and goes on his way. He hardly speaks, yet his presence speaks volumes. Behind this seemingly cold ronin is a warm man indeed. Jin has done nothing but impress me, from taking down a corrupt noble in the first episode, to refusing his sensei's path of darkness and nearly dying to save Fuu in the last. Jin's a badass, but he's a badass with a heart. Not to mention I tend to look up to silent types.

Ragna the Blood Edge (Blazblue

-This guy's pretty interesting and has a diverse if not somewhat cliche past. But that's besides the point. The authorities want a piece of him and after hearing what's he's done I don't blame'em. However, considering what I've read of the NOL and watched his story, I've grown to respect him. Ragna's a guy whose been dragged into some shit he didn't want to be involved in and is simply trying to set things right. This guy's actually a hero. He and a few others may not think so, but I guess that's what adds to his coolness.

Kazama Jin (Tekken)

-Though I'm disappointed that he turned to the dark side in 6, I think it has more to do with the Devil Jin than anything. Anyway, Jin's been my favorite in Tekken since his appearance in 3. He's devoted, benevolent and cool. Some may write him off as 'Emo', but how many guys take care of their issues without so much as a complaint about what's shoved a stick up their ass. And admit it, the tat's pretty cool

Sorry if we don't share the same taste for flat chested/ lolli-like females. Everyone has their own taste, it's best not to insult one's (in this case, OUR) taste.

1)Revy(Black Lagoon) - This chick...is just made of awesome.
2)Saber(Fate/Stay Night) - No explanation needed.
3)Yoichi Hiruma(Eyeshield 21) - Best. Attitude. Ever.
4)Nico Robin(One Piece) - She just has a personality that really appeals to me. But minus some points for being over 6 feet tall....

Each to his own. As a personal rule, I try to stay away from loli. Doesn't feel very right to me. I don't diss yours, same goes for you. But we're all free to talk about who we like, cause this is the relevant thread. Nerine makes good tamagoyaki though.

I fail anknowledge why no one notices him just because he's the comic relief of Clannad. He's a great person who cares for his sister. He even though goofing around most of the time, knows when to express his views, man style.

Well, lets minus off his flirting nature and he's by far one of the best constructed males i've seen.

Beautifully evil. Really is there any word in this word can describe this unique, this wonderful creation claymore presented to me. An evil, yet so desirable girl like Riful.

She's one of the first few "monster girls" that got enlisted to my "likes", with a high rank to boot.

Just a mesh to evil, anger , sadistic nature and cheerfulness squeezed into the small container of a little girl, unleashed to become a incarnation of dominace ,rage and power in her true form .
