It was OK I suppose. I won't lie about this, but I was a bit let down. A lot of VN material went missing, and the rain scene wasn't as effective...

Overall, this needed to be an hour, not just 20 minutes. It's an 8/10 from me.

Thank God there's not TORCH at the end.

A bit shorter than Tomoyo's. I kinda wish both were longer.
Hopefully, subbers will pick this one up.

i really didn't like kyou's route (since ryou's route is counted as a bad end... ryou= <3 ) anyways gonna wait for the sub.

As for this ep since I played the VN it was not that surprising for me but still sad since like ImperialX said some scenes were missing.

At the beginning i'm like what the hell? isn't this seposed to be Kyou's arc .. and then i'm like, oooohh lol. All in all a good ep ^^

it was like "meh, only like that" After I watched it. they should really put more into it...


although I love Ryou and Kyou as a character but their "route" doesn't appeal much me to me, Since the story is a generic and common, and I've already watched/played many anime/VN with the same kind of story and decelopment... :)

So, I really see this episode as a "cash cow" episode...

I was a bit disappointed. I've never been fond of the Another World chapters. I knew there was no way they could make them feel like part of the anime, and make them as good as their VN counterparts, but Kyou chapter was particularly weak. It felt so rushed. It felt so much more needed to be done and a 22 minute episode wasn't going to cut it. Definitely the weakest part of Clannad.

i really liked it. it didnt bring out that much emotion out of me like the series but its a win because its clannad.

This really sums up my opinion. When the news about this came out I really couldn't help but think this is just another money-milking project...

If they really want to give Clannad what it great for, the story, then a Hiiragi Kappei ova would be better than this one.

I felt like drinking Earl Gray from a bottle capsule. So much aroma in such a small space. Too small to actually enjoy it.

And yeah, the reason I want a Hiiragi Kappei ova is precisely because somehow they decided to kick him outta the anime...aww, that sucks, man. I can still stomach it if he still got a meager 10mins dedicated to him...but none?

I rather see a OVA where Kappei Hiragi is with Kyou, rather than force all about Tomoya...

I really want to see the "adventure" of this man...and hoping that he will be romantically involved with Kyou...

Oh my that'd be sweet. But well, when we consider that they kicked him outta the anime altogether...only sheer luck + pure miracle would make this "dream ova" a reality...
