- Kiyomaro and Megumi (Konjiki no Gash Bell!!)
- Konata and Kagami (Heh. I know it's not that kind of anime. Don't CARE.)
- Sasahara and Oguie (Genshiken, and I KNOW I typed their names wrong. I know they got together in the manga, but the anime should've put that in.)

I can think of more, but the ones I put up are pointless anyway.

Shirou and Saber, seriously the one problem I have with anime is that they rarely ever seem to develop characters who like one another, so seeing shirou and saber getting closer and closer was wonderful to watch, but then I got a painful kick in the balls, sad endings are my worse enemy ;___;

So yeah basically I was quited cheesed off about that.

Domon Kasshu / Allenby Beardsley from G Gundam. Much as I love Rain, she suffers from a disease known as Generic Anime Love Interest and isn't really all that interesting as a character. Allenby on the other hand is just plain awesome.

Roy Folker and Claudia Grant from "Robotech". Well, yeah, they were TOGETHER, but
I mean it woulda been good if it were permanent, i.e. Roy not dying horribly.

Anemone x Dominic (Eureka 7 manga) Justice was served in the anime, but in the manga...not so much
Kuwabara x Yukina and Genkai x Younger Toguro (Yu Yu Hakusho) The former may have a chance, but it was left unresolved. As for the latter, they were made for each other. The clips of them together in their younger days made me wish things turned out differently for them.
Another one from this same anime has to be Raizen x Yusuke's ancestor, or "mother".

This would be nice, and is certainly a pairing I adore, but it just won't happen. Hinata is so timid, and Naruto is the archetype of "moron."

For me...I'm just going to throw pairing I would find funny, and would have loved to see.

DBZ: Goku and Bulma. (lol)
Seto no Hanayome: Nagasumi and Inchou. (I love her far more than I should.)

EDIT: razama is completely and utterly right. Kyou and Tomoyo should have been.
Also reminded me of that memorable hug Kyou gave Kotomi.
