in just a few days i posted the topic about this manga, suddenly shit happens...oh well, guess i post it again...this manga is too good to be forgotten

from the author/artist of Hohzuki Island...Sanba-sensei brought his latest manga

Cradle of Monsters/MOURYOU NO YURIKAGO

A group of students finds themselves on a sinking capsized ship. Together with zombies.
What happened to the ship and why are there zombies aboard?
It's a battle for survival against time, zombies, and what more?

compares to Hohzuki Island, this one is much more bloody and gore...read at your own risk...8)...feels like a zombies movie + Poseidon film...the latest chapter is 14...hope you guys enjoy it...8)

Currently I like the latest few chapters. And probably "zombies" ain't the right term anymore for these bloody walkers, in the case of this manga only.

Spoiler:
It's more of a slow degradation, I think. In the case of one of their female companions, it resembles more of an influence - something that speeds up healing, and strength, and stamina... at the expense of sanity, psychotic tendencies and inexplicable bursts of rage and keeps the person alive with some semblance of speech despite severe bodily damage. Zombies are for dead people... but in the case of one of their companions, it more resembles the outbreak in last year's film "The Crazies", with more blood and guts included in the fray.

But in the latest chapter, it ain't even a virus - Chapter 14 is kind of flabbergasting. A separate group of survivors find that a parasite has lodged behind the victim's brain, kind of tentacle-ish.

I said it's flabbergasting because apparently the crazy shit only spreads through bites and direct contamination... so how the hell did a parasite grow like that? Are its eggs as small as blood platelets? Dunno. But I'll just wait for further chapters - it maybe rounds itself out.
