Darker than Black S2: Ep. 6

Finally Yin has been revealed and the plot has finally caught my interest once again. Based on what happened in previous episodes Yin might have been used as a catalyst in destroying/killing the contractors or their powers. This would also explain why Hei may want to kill Yin but this seems to be quite a stretch.

Hopefully the next episode will bring more, and through the preview of episode 7 it seems Sou has a bit of jealousy towards Yin but it could be my imagination.

Suou and Heis relationship progressed quite a bit in this episode, and it's probably gonna progress more seeing as Hei is gonna stop drinking, especially if that's the last thing we've seen of that Norio guy as he shouldn't have a clue of where they're going.


Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers anyone?

so Hei quits bein' a drunk hobo, but still remains a lolicon. LOL. kudos to plot development, though i was hoping for more action.

Didn't like this ep that much. With the amount of buildup last week I was hoping for far more than something as predictable as a Yin in the box. Apart from that Suou's change of attitude towards Hei was far too abrupt, the fights seemed pointless and there was way too much Mao to make this anywhere near serious. They're making them look like a traveling cosy little family or something >_>
My biggest issue however lies with that whatshisname punk and his cross-dresser dad. Those two fuckheads stole a lot of valuable screentime (we're already around the middle of the show) and the only thing they provided to the main story is a ringing "contractors are killers!" in Suou's head. This could have easily been done with a 2 minute insert scene involving some random casualty and his/her crying loved one. And god forbid if they're yet to return! - Hei's part of the story hasn't gotten nowhere yet and that's still nothing compared to the progress Suou had in finding her brother so the last thing we need is more of their uselessness.

Well, at least Yin is somewhat back in the game and seems indeed the one that Hei indented to kill (though it's starting to look like a bluff after stopping Suou this week). Might have something to do with her powers clearly growing since the last time we've seen her.

I don't think everything is going to be resolved at the end of this season. There is noway it is going to happen. Kirihara, Yin, suou's brother, Hei's decent into depression, and other minor characters all still need to be resolved. I don't think the story is going even come close to being told by the last episode especially if they don't speed the pacing WAAY up.

Since what I feel about the episode has already been stated by the above persons (besides how MANLY Norio's father looks without the wig), I was pleasantly surprised by seeing Hei cook again.

I've been more or less enjoying this ep. Although it was predictable, Yin makes her comeback, crossdresser and his son are (hopfully) gone and Hei's drinking (I had expected a lot more concerning his personality and behaviour from this drinking) is also in the past.

We still need to have an ending where Hei becomes GOD or something

No, it's clearly not exactly as you put it. I could go on and elaborate but knowing you, that would be unnecessary work for me. Still, I didn't think you'd fall for such obvious trickery.

Don't see how I fell for anything here. All I meant is that by saying ~ "I'm gonna kill that woman" at the end of ep 3, Hei seems to have been indeed referring to Yin. His phone talk with Madame O states that somewhat clearly. Circumstances aside it's pretty clear that he was either bluffing or fooling himself though.
