for mecha it would have to be Gundam 08th MS team.
also, don't get me wrong, I loved Clannad, but I believe that it's overrated now by too many fans...

But my favorite anime of all time would be one piece, cause i hated that shit before i watched it, then i tried it out and spent a whole month catching up to episode 400 and it never got boring. Though i must admit the foxy part got me pissed :D at foxy i mean XD.

Bakemonogatari - I fell in love with this after the second episode, love the characters, art direction, stories ect I just liked how different it was.
Clannad - Well I'm sure I don't need to state why I love this anime so much, for me personally it's the best love anime I've seen, nothing has compared to it yet (Kanon was alright but the only one that had an emotional punch for me was the fox story.)
Gurren Lagann - I'm not that much of a mecha fan really, although whether TTGL is a mecha anime does go under some debate, but either way I enjoyed this and like everyone else loved Kamina's speeches.
I like many other anime series but those 3 really were something special for me.
Clannad - Well I'm sure I don't need to state why I love this anime so much, for me personally it's the best love anime I've seen, nothing has compared to it yet (Kanon was alright but the only one that had an emotional punch for me was the fox story.)
