If more sub groups used IRC XDCC I'd use less torrents, unfortunately not all of them do

I usually save my bandwith for the series I like the most, so I download occasionally. Otherwise, I stream, which is getting harder by the day.
With that said, I use utorrent and a private tracker. Endless seeds for everything. Best.

I always use torrents because it allows me to keep track of what episodes of certain shows I am. Besides that main point the speed of download is much faster than DD and when you have a 2 Terra HD, space is not a problem =)

I'm definitely a torrents kind of guy, but I'm not beneath using DDL if it ends up being more convenient.

Only use torrents. Bakabt.com is probably the best site for torrents, for licensed anime and older ones I use nyaa as many others have already said.

ya. I have almost always downloaded by torrent and now with Megaupload and other sites going down it only makes even more sense to use torrents

Sometimes yes sometimes no. If I'm not using the internet at all, I'll torrent something and afk, but if not then I'll do a direct download.

Add the feed to utorrent and set it to not download automatically. Open the RSS downloader and from there you can specify where it saves it to so it downloads where you want it instead of the default location.
This sounds like a really cool thing to do. I'm doing this when I get back to my home PC.
On topic: I can't live without torrents. Torrents is where the shit is at, people.

I'm a regular on TPB, but I'm not a big fan of it cause it lags my games to hell. Also, If I have the chance to get the DVD for something, I much prefer it over anything.

Now that a lot of file-hosting sites are gone and the ones that are around have ridiculous limits to them, all I do is torrent Anime now. It's much quicker too. I only watch currently airing Anime though.

Since they started the whole SOPA thing a month or two ago, I was forced to use and learn Torrents. My internet that I use is not the best in the world (I use smart Bro prepaid) but at least w/ Torrents, I can pause and resume on a later date unlike direct downloads so I'm fine w/ torrents but I want to use DDLs better.
