[General] Downloading Manga?

How many people actually download manga? It really seems like every thread relating to manga has someone asking for torrents in it. I understand when it's some random and obscure mange or manhwa that would never sell at all in North America (things like "My Balls" come to mind) or if it's something like Gantz that got passed over and has a rather low chance of coming over, but when someone asks for scanlations of things like Bleach or Hellsing it just confuses me. Reading manga on a computer sucks ass. Reading anything other than forum posts on the internet is a chore. Why do so many people here seem to do it? Edit: Manhwa is Korean manga.

Yes, because I'm broke and/or cheap

Yes, because I read lots of untranslated series

Yes, because I have nowhere convenient to buy it (and for some reason can't buy off the net)

No, but only because I know where/how to get it

No, reading manga on a computer screen is stupid

I don't download manga, I read it online if it's a untranslated series or I want to check out a new series to get into. I buy manga that I truly love and support it so more is released. I prefer having the book in my hand.
Plus, the official translation is much better than some that are online.
That's my opinion.
