Elfen Lied

The manga isn't that bad, but the anime is horrible.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but come on! Elfen Lied anime was horrible? Someone back me up on this!

Just caught up to the manga from chapter 55, I think, all in 2 hours, hence, I am exhausted and can't really back my reasons now.

one-of-a-kind original mix between love story,struggle,racism,cruelty,psychodrama,ecchiness,blood and gore.
nothing like it.

I think the anime that earned the title "Most violent and gore filled 10 minutes of anime ever" in its first episode is at least worth a look.

I myself still read the manga, but in comparison I think it's lacking the touch that the anime had. It seemed to get more and more emotional, and just turned into something that felt like a chore to read through.

It is more about intolerance in general not racism. Also the manga only sucks cuz of its art. Actually I guess I jsut don't like Elfen Lied too much anymroe, manga and anime. There's not really anything impressive about it. The big hype was because of the killing and sexual stuff, but other than that it is really not really impressive. You can get a better mixture of cruelty, romance, gore, etc. from other series. This just stands out because it is much mroe well known at this point but other even better titles are just not discovered to others yet.

I don't even remember anymroe. It's been years since I saw it so I'm jsut saying from where I last left it. All I can say from memory is that it started off good, but the ending was left with a gaping hole. The manga does finish up this missing plot, but the manga itself isn't too fulfilling either.

Heh, I finished reading it (after stopping at around chapter 100 a couple of months ago) and i have to say that it was all pretty enjoyable! Plus it showed what Lucy/Nyu's name really was



over all its a damn good series.

Didn't realize that this was finished, just read the last chapter.

I read all 107 chapters in one sitting. This broke my record of amount of manga read in one shot.
