You sure about that? English borrows words from other languages all the time.

Anyway, the Japanese treat english much in the same way english anime fans (particularly young ones) use "desu", "ne" and other such expressions ("That's so kawaii!!"). Hang around in an anime site and you'll see.
And its not just the japanese either. Chinese pop songs are peppered with english words ("oh baby" "love "I miss you" and other such words and phrases).
Its just an example of a language borrowing words from another. It just so happens that a _lot_ of people speak english.
