I love sci-fi but I couldn't stand watching Ghost In The Shell,it just was too slow and it felt like it was never really going somewhere and when I thought I did I got bored to death.
hmmm...there was this one horrible anime called Piano man it even sounds boring it was just about this girl and well a piano and Some dude she started liking and that was it.blah blah man the first episode was horrible.
To be honest, I could never get myself to finish Code Geass, though it was more because I'd had the ending spoiled and didn't like the sound of it then that I didn't like the anime itself.
Technically I've dropped tons of anime but it's more like I started watching something else. I'll definitely go back and finish everything so at least if I hate it I'll have more specifics than it was boring. One example is Ghost in the Shell.
Pretty much anything that went crazy popular back in Toonami days and such like:
Full Metal Alchemist
Trigun
Inuyasha
and also Betterman. I mean, so much incoherent blabbing, what were they trying to do?
i rarely drop animes, i mean there have been a few i've wanted to drop like macroos frontier and highschool of the dead but i pushed myself into finishing it, but animes i dropped are:
bleach:TOO DAMN LONG, the fillers suck, the story went to hell and the power level of the characters dont match up.
Naruto: because naruto is in love with sasuke, seriously, that and the fillers and how long it was.
Blood+ : it got boring half way through.
Durarara!! : it got way too boring after episode 15.
kekkaishi: saw first 2 episodes, but it was just so stupid i stopped.
full metal alchemist: its good but i hate edword.
higurashi: it got boring, and i thought i would like it cuz of the gore but it was just too boring.
animes im thinking about dropping:
panty & stocking with gartelbelt: too many pointless and boring episodes, and what happaned to the plot that started in episode 5?
Dukuro-chan; the Bludgeoning Angel <-- terrible characters
Elf Princess Rane <-- too crazy, but not as crazy as;
FLCL <-- worst anime I have ever seen
Hell Girl <-- so repetitive it's ridiculous
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama <-- nothing overly wrong with it, just didn't engage me enough to stay
Serial Experiments Lain <-- too slow a start
Shagukan no Shana <-- hate the characters, the story and everything
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo <-- yet another detective anime that fails to be what Death Note and Monster are
Soro no Otoshimono: Forte <-- just a vamped version of the original, which I barely made it through
I wonder what will be next? Ore no Imouto was very close...
Negima! I dropped because I felt like a douche while watching it and Haruhi S2 I dropped because of the endless eight debacle. So bad. So so bad. Everything else I either liked enough to finish or forced myself to finish because I felt bad if I didn't finish watching it.
