Shirou was never close to Rin and never met Saber before the Grail War, and he took care of Sakura in the archery club, therefore their relationship was the most natural and realistic one (rather than with the school idol/ beautiful awesome cute heroic spirit) and Sakura should win by default. I'd say it's because i love Ilya that I don't want her to end up with shirou...

so shirou, you can have sakura, taiga or ayako for all i care. but i recommend shinji.

it's a fairly sure bet he'd go sacrifice-saving just about anyone with that dysfunctional personality of his (especially a romantic interest). It's just that Sakura was the only one weak enough to require continuous saving/support. Rin was fighting without a servant most of the time and Saber lacked an energy source and yet neither of them ever gave up or relied solely on his help.
It's also indicated that he was infatuated with Rin for some time and that he fell for Saber the moment she appeared whereas any real affection towards Sakura only shows up in the latter parts of HF.


The fuck am I doing discussing 2D romantic interests ...

Shirou is a pervert who wants to score every girl if he get the chance.
In Fate route the moment he saw Saber he got clingy with her like a dog and its owner, trying to protect her fight for her blablabla and shit. When he got to know more of Rin's true character in UBW suddenly he was all buddy buddy with her like he was her classmate for years or something, although ten days ago he could only watch her figure from afar and fap when he got home like most guys in his school.
I know it's a VN, you choose a girl then you get closer with her and other girls get less char development. What I don't like from Shirou is his 'Imma fucking hero of justice protecting powerful chicks who can blow my ass in one second and fighting the motherfucking Hercules lol you lost me' attitude towards the heroines in both route trying to be cool, but making himself looked like an idiot instead.
The only Shirou I like is HF Shirou because he gave up being the hero of justice and just keep moving forward and beat the shit out of everyone who gets in his way like a real man.


Lol even I don't have a clue why I'm discussing this. Probably because of my Shirou hate.

Sakura. She deserves it for normal ending of her route and shit.
Saber, Rin and Ilya would be mine then, BWAHAHAHAHA!
