Fate/Zero 1

Howdy folks, this will be the discussion thread for the first episode of Fate/Zero. Of course, it's been a long time since the beginning, so I'll play this loose and fast - and try to cover all the current episodes before this month is over.

And yes, there will be spoilers.

Anywho, my thoughts about it:

Frankly, this is one of the longest pilot episodes I have seen for an hour: it is approximately 50 minutes in length, which is the same as two regular episodes. And it's more or less "dry" - there's no action per say, and it focuses mainly on character dialogue and interaction.

For those that recognize this episode, it coincides with both the Prologue and Act 1 of the light novel.
