Dayum. I love this and all... But I'm feeling something's off.

Yeah something's off. I hope it's because of the trailer's quality but the characters' faces, battle animation, colors... damn that looks like a 2004ish anime right there. Which studio is making this?

This always happens with mangas that has "beautiful" art and drawings.

Noticed it as well when the first promo video came out, but somehow the second teaser felt way better than the first one.

Music wise, we can expect something good. Masaru YOKOYAMA did a pretty good job on Arakawa.
But yea, the anime will be 11 episodes long. So the animation quality SHOULD be good.

Yeah, I couldn't wait for the series to start so I started reading the Manhwa. I like it a lot so far, so I hope that the anime can deliver as well.

That's just the usual quality loss from the transition from comic to animated form. But I am curious as to how you specifically chose 2004. It's not like other years don't have incredibly oddly-animated anime.

I know when a manga with good/ detailed artwork got adapted into anime there will be quality loss, but from looking at the trailer and knowing the animation studio I'm afraid this won't be a good one. The quality is too low for a 2010 anime with 11 episodes, I'm thinking maybe they don't have a large budget considering the manga hasn't gained much popularity. Let's hope I'm wrong.
And why I said 2004, uhh let's just say I had a bad experience with animes from 2004.

OK. Yup. I hope its only me, but it seems the trailers show its gunna be derailed from the storyline a bit(or more than).

Having followed this manhwa since its first scanlation, I can promise they haven't showed much of East Genetics, much less the battle rooms in there. Plus, the manhwa hasn't shown a battleground test with multiple opponents against Bridget. It mostly shows how bad Bridget is with student body social relationships, and how she fights through it.
Probably gunna expand the world a bit more with this, bit I'm expecting to be disappointed with slight variations and deviations of the original story.

In any case I hope it gets better production value. Its too good to mess up.

Ok watched, and honestly... I found that it was overall not as bad as expected! They made a good choice for choosing Bridget's voice actress and I'm already diggin the soundtracks.

Not what is left is to wonder: how close are they going to stick with the manga?

My favorite was always Fairchild, so it was a delight to see her. Hopefully I get to see her fight before the show ends.

It felt like Noto Mamiko voiced like three characters in the episode, heh. But two of them were minor characters, and her Stella voice was rather nice.

I'm greatly pleased to see that the anime intends to be every bit as bloody as the manga was. Reminiscent of Claymore. The comparison's obviously been made before, but the two shows are quite similar in how they produce their female warriors.

I can't wait to see their cafeteria.

So like I said before, I haven't read much, but I did like this initial episode, if its going to follow the manhwa then I'll only know a few episodes worth.
Since it was a while ago that I read it, most of the terminology has escaped me unfortunately. I am gonna have to do some reading to remember it all again.

Some aspect of the show reminded me a little bit of Claymore. I'm quite interested now since I've seen the first episode. Aspect ratio is weird though.
