Seitokai Yakuindomo was a good anime.. not the manga.
So was Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki ja Nai n da kara ne.
Mah favorite is love hina but i old weeb from the day.. and dr stump.

I would have to say in terms of "easiest on the general audiance," funniest and weirdest goes to FLCL. Now for the die hards like the types who have rather intrestig topics on a hentai based forum, then I would have to say "Welcome to the NHK." It's weird, it's funny and it's not over doing it.

Cromartie High School is pretty crazy stuff. but for just silly fun, bo bo bo was what use I to watch just to get a laugh. i mean common jelly jiggler is jawsome..

Baka test, Seitokai Ichizon-Yakuindomo, and Nichijou for animes.
And for mangas, I like 'Imouto wa Shisunki' and 'Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to'.

Nichijo is pretty damn funny, Angel Beats anyone?, Baka and Test I laughed at quite a bit, I actually found the BoBoBo manga kind of funny, Scott Pilgrim even if it's not really manga it's still got a good sense of humor.

I did tear up a little at the end, but the episode where they tried to make Kanade fail her tests was freaking hailrious, and comedy is the thing it does best other than drama.

The contradiction between the shuttling chair and the mellow song really made my day.
