Ah, this episode was much better than last week's. The introduction to this episode,
with the scene of the airport and the two snipers was pretty awesome.
I hope to see plenty more of those characters in the future.
I also liked how this episode showed even more how easily society can become chaotic from a single crisis.
This point was made especially clear when the street kids were just blown away into the river by the police, and when Takashi was riding through the streets, and people had their butcher knives and such. Another prime example was when Takagi was talking about Shindou and how he is turning the bus into a cult. I was glad when the main crew was able to get off of that bus, thanks to Hirano. He is getting pretty badass, and since he got the gun I can see him becoming even more of a man.
The sequence where the group finally came together on the bridge was nice as well as the ending, with Takashi's monologue.
Shizuka really stole the show this episode, though. She's just so cute, and I can't wait to see the bathing scene next week. :)
