Galge.com is gone

No more access. No explanation why. I liked the wallpapers that they had. Where am I going to get some cool wallpapers now?

I don't know what kind of site it was. The only thing I knew about it is that is was related to anime stuff.

Never heard of the site before, but damn, I'm perpetually looking for cool wallpapers, so its surely a shame...

if you're lucky you can find them in gelbooru/danbooru/moe-imouto

moe.imouto, konachan and danbooru still have a lot of their stuff up. just do a search for galge.com

kinda sucks that we won't be getting any new things though :(

Is it the whole site, internationally? Or just international access outside of Japan... I know many sites do that.

I just visited the page and it says that Galge closed down at the end of May 2010 and they thank their visitors for the 7 years they've been active.

It seems to be closed down for good.

WOAH. That's so crazy... any clue as to why they closed, articles detailing info, etc?
I thought they were like a leader in their market. :o

Sadly, no information about the reasons are given. It's really bare-bones.

Bought one thing from that wesbite and never downloaded it onto my computer lol.
Sadly I missed the last of their wallpapers but i do have most of them.

If i get the patience and time i might upload them.

You should really go do that.
