[General] Shonen Jump's "NEW" Trinity.

So, at the end of year 2011, we have a new set of 3 Jump series at the top.

So, as we can see it's now One Piece, Naruto and Toriko. Bleach has already been brushed to the background until it can climb it's way up again.

So, what's you're opinion about this "new" trinity.

I'm surprised OP is no place. And happy Toriko is actually top tiered.

By far Toriko is more interesting to me than the well known shounen trio.

hmm..so fairy tail didn't make it!

Other than Naruto being undeserving the second spot (HxH should be in top 3) I have no complains about the trinity.

Fairy Tail is not in "Shonen Jump", It's published in "Shonen Magazine" with "Air Gear", "Mahou Sensei NEgima", and "Code Breaker"



There are debates whether HxH is ranked or not. Being Unranked means "you have a permanent spot in Jump" and Being unranked also means you're pretty much "safe from any cancellation". An Example for this is "Kochikame".

HxH is released way to inconsistantly to be part of the HST, and even though Toriko is beating Bleach in the ranking it still doesn't sell enough volumes to be above Bleach in "popularity" (if that's how we're gonna judge popularity that is).

This is kinda old news tbh, Bleach was already kicked out of the cover a couple of months ago to make way for that dude from Toriko.

Well, I'm just spreading the awareness. Get people to try and read Toriko. It's a fun shonen series to read. :D
Wish those foods existed though.

I haven't read it yet myself, but i've heard people say it's good, gonna wait until there's a really good amount of chapters out before digging into it.

Well no surprise about One Piece constantly being on top, great series.

Not all that surprised either where Bleach is sitting.

Damn.....Kagami no Kuni is way down there. Hopefully it won't end abruptly like Mx0.

Toriko doesn't try to take itself seriously but still manages to be awesome. Also none of the characters in there are useless pussies. I mean even Komatsu who has that timid person's voice is still pretty bad ass, even in the beginning of the series. Sure he doesn't have much combat ability but he's the supreme chef and has enough guts to accompany Toriko on dangerous hunting mentions out of curiosity and yet doesn't become the Chick and need constant rescuing.
