[Manga]Genshiken

I was surprise there wasn't a thread for this... any-who the manga series ended in 2009, but a new chapter came out and i guess a new story arc or just a couple chapters just to breath life into a new story? Who know... here the new chapter

After reading it... yup, definitely a new continuation to the Genshiken story. I guess Kio Shimoku missed doing this one (which is good). And some more chapters and stories wouldn't hurt either.

BTW, if anyone want the "bridge" chapter that introduces some of the new characters in this continuation, I made a thread about it last year. An extra Chapter 56 (the ninth volume ended in 55) made to celebrate the release of the Genshiken 2 anime DVD.

i love this story
i loved the fact that we learned just enough of each character to see them as friends when you read the story.

I started reading this manga, but I stopped after I realized that my local Borders Express only had the first two volumes and I felt to lazy to read it online. I might pick it up soon again though. The story seemed nice enough, and the characters seemed interesting enough.

the last time i read Genshiken was the bonus manga in kuchibiki unbalance.
i F*CKIN LOVE & ADORE this series.it's like a Al-Quran/Holy Bible to me.
but,i didn't know there's a continuation of this series?!

and after i read these 3 chapters,hato-kun is really dangerous.
he's one deadliest trap i ever encountered. he even able to make madarame.....dude....don't fall for him.lol.

I lol on that part.... but i think ol' Kuchiki will kill him before madarame touches hato-kun... i wish they would give his last name.

Oh wow, I didnt know about this and I have the knack to call myself a fan? Shameful. Im so glad this series is continuing on for a short period, its one of my all time favourites :3 Sorry I dont have anything more to add, just so thrilled XD

like i said,Genshiken is like a bible to me.i know it first from the manga then the anime series.when the series ends,i got mixed feeling of happy and sad.but because of the anime,i know the exact location of Tora no ana bookstore.lol.

it'll be nice if the upcoming chapters have all the characters from genshiken have a reunion (including the first president but not for that annoying guy).lol.

if i have to say,hato is in the same dangerous level with hideyoshi from baka to testo.he managed to make that kind of "feeling" with madarame.
