.hack

Hello everyone!

I'd like to start watching the .hack// anime series but I don't know which one is the first one... So can you tell me in which order to watch them?

I suggest probably starting with hack://SIGN then watching hack://TWILIGHT

The others have no particular order of happening as far as i know.... but i am sure G.U happen before those two. Not sure though.

They all fit into the .hack timeline somewhere, it's just getting the order I guess.

I'm think the order goes something like this: .Hack//Liminality(OVA), then SIGN, Twilight, Roots = G.U movie (GU movie fits in with Roots timeline wise somewhere iirc) followed by Quantum(OVA).

I'm not 100% if I've gotten the order right though, but like Damoz has mentioned, best to start of with SIGN and then Twilight. I'd then follow those two anime up with .hack//Roots and you can always come back to the movie and OVA's afterwords if you feel like it :)

People shouldn't comment on a timeline they don't know anything about.

It's worth noting that NOT playing the games (or at least watching the games' cutscenes) is a huge detriment to enjoying the series.
