Haruhi, do you even care anymore?

Man way back in '06, haruhi was pratically the shit, but sadly after a mere eight rehashes of the same f**king episode, she has taken the biggest downfall ever since Sonic the hegdehog's (analogy, analogy), so despite a movie in effect, does anyone even give two shits about her anymore?? She was a fricking god that could alter anything by just thinking it, now look at her.

It was the shit because it was so original. Originality in the anime/manga world fades in time... quickly.

Awesome stuff, I am so amazed for the endless eight, they drawn different scenes for each episode with the same script, so much work on the same script for so many episodes, i dont know if thats really genius or really stupid or they hired convicts who can draw and make this their punishment. I just dont know, this defy common sense, perhaps they should just replay the episode 8 times, yeah that will save them alot of money for just having to draw one episode.
The first season was nice, i was attracted to the originality of the series, the second season had some nice stuff but the endless eight overlaps it.

Still I would give a crap if there is a next, because this shit is original and I intrested to see what stuff they are going to pull off next, stupid or genius, I like to see the stuff that they pulled off which so few shows manage to do.

Yuki still gives me hope. But holy fuck, if she wasn't there, I'd be flaming this anime down the shit-hole. (After last season at least)

Someone get ImperialX in here, I'm interested in what he has to offer in this thread. I still care about Haruhi. :D

I've been here since the start. I intended to observe what you guys will say before making any comments. I'm quite pleased with responses in general so far, however, I won't be surprised if by the time this topic has reached 2 or 3 pages, most comments will come from Haruhi-haters.

Never cared much for the series honestly. The first season was fun but that's about it. Still mustering the willingness to watch latter eps but the presence of Yuki will probably sway me eventually.

Haruhi's still cute and all, but there needs to be more good original content to keep my interest level up. I do hope that Haruhi does something epic that will bring itself back up from the depths to the limelight again as I enjoyed the original episodes, but for the time being that's just a hope and a dream.

Still though, as long as Nagato Yuki is there I'm probably gonna keep checking it out.

Here in the philippines The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was just aired recently and airing that anime I expect many of my friends would be glad but, what the fuck the Channel that was airing it dropped it at Episode 10. They didn't even let it fuckin finish. So to sum it up people here aren't that enjoyed of Haruhi which made me dissapointed.

MoSH, will always be special to me because it was the anime that made watch other animes which led to other things and then i ended up here :D

MoSH 2 on the other hand makes me want to strangle myself

I still like it, but not as much as I did when I first saw it. My taste changed from Haruhi to Yuki, if that means anything. Sweet Yuki.

I haven't watched the 2nd season, btw, so I can't really judge Endless Eight or anything.

I thought S1 was alright. It was unique. S2... I only got the first ep in and I stopped. Oh god when I head of Endless Eight and how it was a complete repeat of the same ep 8 times, wow I'm not even gonna go there.

just skip all the way to the 3rd to last episode if you want, that's where the Endless 8 finally ends

It somewhat boring when I watch it, but it's interesting to see almost all kind of their clothes.

I think they learned their lesson from enless 8. If it wasn't for that then I'd be completely in love with the series. I just don't understand why they did it... I wish they'd explain why they though it would be interesting or why they thought people would like it.

Haruhi is still a very awesome character I think, and unlike everyone else I don't think they Yuki is more interesting then her. Yuki is lovable, but Haruhi is more complex as a character. Plus I definetly hate the was they are doing her character in that new manga that features her as the main character - they changed her to much.

endless eight really left me disappointed with the second season, if it weren't for that second season could have been more enjoyable

I like the first series, I wasn't obsessed but it brought a lot of anticipation to the next series. Endless eight didn't really bother me as much as the K-ON style drawing they put in. Haruhi's new smile is nono in my books. Don't know if it's me or not but I feel Haruhi lost a bit of that magic from the first season. Something in her actions or tone or facial expression. Can't really pin point it.
