Has anime/hentai changed you?

Has the discovery of anime changed you in anyway. Whether it be a negative or positive change? Maybe a change in your social skills? Or eating diet. Ramen's a hell of drug, ya know?

Personally it did change me. I went on a anime binge summer before my 3rd year in high school. All I did was watch romance anime(and hentai on my downtime). And the week before the first day of class I had the misfortune of watching the entire season School Days in one setting. Needless to say I went to school depressed but the important thing that changed was my outlook on relationships. I got a girlfriend that year but we broke up in a year when I went on another anime binge that summer. I dont know if that had anything to do with it but ever since then I find myself hesitant. I mean I can generate a conversation but I'm just careful, or so I figure, about who I try to get serious with.

So what about you guys? Any anime/hentai just mind fuck you or caused you to act differently in the real world?

No. I was seriously ecchi before anime/hentai unless you include Eerie and Creepy magazines. These were old school horror stories which showed a few nude women.

I tend to look at my Discovering of Hentai/Anime as more of a life
changing event, Because of this I am a more open person and am not afraid to speak my mind if ever the occasion arises.

I've changed, otherwise I would have went to better schools or became one of those hallway jocks who annoy people.

anime got me more into hentai, before it was just normal porn for me.

on a more serious note, I guess you could say that anime has increased my interest for japanese culture...

In the past, when I read manga such as Chobits or Love Hina, I would get an instant boner. But ever since I started reading hentai, things change. I don't really get to enjoy the ecchi stuff that much anymore.

I was somehow quite a closet perv before I even read manga (I started wondering about how girls appeared without clothes on at a very early age... no idea how, but I'm a curious person, so that might have been it... either way, it blossomed into a very "active" imagination <.<), but reading hentai just answered my questions xD Still, I like hentai with a good story, although artwork counts too...

As for manga, I think it just inspired me to act more like how I feel instead of hiding most of my crazy notions, although acting all random and crap needs to be controlled as well... so I guess you could say that manga has inspired me to just be myself xD Still, I love reading romance manga and I still get the fuzzy feeling when I read a "Dawwwww..." scene ^w^

I hear people say that a lot, although I cannot relate...

I don't watch much anime, so that hasn't really changed me... and hentai specifically? Hmm not really. It's more like the whole otaku subculture that did (most likely the video games that turned me into a hikikomori D:).

Although I gotta say, hentai made me study Jap more seriously... (and that's no joke)

no...made me collect dolls...but that was only 1 specific anime
(take a guess lol)

I was never so engrossed about learning Japanese before watching anime so I guess that's one of the changes I've had xD

Maybe Visual Novels which changed me a lot...

I got lot's of things from anime and hentai...I learned japanese thanks to the subbers...I learned other culture...I got many information that is actually useful IRL...so I never regretted watching anime or hentai....

Anime and Hentai turned me into a full-on Ramen eating, figure collecting Otaku. I regret nothing and I have actually made more friends this way =3

After watching Kara no Kyoukai, I only eat Häagen-Dazs strawberry icecream now.

i can probaly say it changeed me, like i now have a stronger interest in japan and after watching romance/comedy anime im more in touch with my emotions i guess, which is weird for me.

Anime has made me a lot less social, which I like to be honest since I love the variety of story's you can get from anime, so for me sitting at home and do nothing but watching anime is my idea of heaven. But it's made me not watch regular tv that much, real squishy humans just aren't...interesting D:

And as for hentai, well my left hand has had a lot more work than usual thanks to it.
