The plot seems average but i liked the animation so im watching this for a few episodes mabye.

A lot of people like this, so i'm gonna give it a shot

I'm actually curious what any Japanese people think about this

I watching this, and loving it, such a simple plot, nice characters. Kinda brings back the old childhood memories for some, of running around saving the day from invading aliens etc. Thought I can't help but keep thinking some where the series tries to get series. Since this is a BONES project, I get some Eureka 7 vibes, but only good vibes, and hearing the ED by FLOW really backs up these vibes. The only lingering bad thing that could happen imo is involving Psy, I just got this feeling that if the series went serious, something could happen to him...

So far I'm liking this series. Hope it's longer than 13 episodes..

if the story wasn't so childish, and if it were a lot more series, I could see this series going longer. But I'll settle for what I get.

On a side note, with the cameos by Stan Lee, I can't help but wonder, if/when this series get an American release, will Stan Lee voice his cameo character? I think yes, what say you?

I say this series shouldn't have bothered with seiyuus at all, and went ahead to dub it straight in English with actual English-speaking American actors. (The fuck can't I shake off the "made in Japan" label?)

Far from having the Xamdou quality of animation which I expected from Bones but what the hell, this—America, America, AMERICA!—is exactly what I signed up for from the very beginning. "HEGOMAN" with a silent H(ahaha). Just laughable!

Woulda been interesting to say the least if it went that way. The most hilarious thing I saw in this series so far, was when you saw police officers, in say, in Japanese, "America Banzai!"

It's only at episode 13 (new OP and ED) but its just such an funny and yet good story, I mean its very typical in the beginning, not that much surprising, very child like fantasy style, but now its changed a bit towards another direction, though still has the same feel as before, still give it a look. For some reason, probably because I am in America, I get more lols from this series.

Plus, anime version of Stan Lee is hilarious.

I started watching this but I dropped it at around episode 5. It was way to kiddy for my tastes.

I mean this could have turned out pretty cool but they made it clearly for a younger audience.

Yea I do, and that's exactly why I watch it, more or less. It reminds me off when I was a kid, and your fantasies of fighting evil aliens and what not. IMO its not the kinda series you keep watching due to great story, I just sit down, watch an episode an I fell like I am 8 yrs old again, very fun to watch. I am not saying its only for kids/younger audience, I still recommend people watch this series. Especially, again I state, this anime is so much more hilarious to some one actually living in the USA, due to the sheer fact that this series takes place in an America, where Japanese is apparently the national language.

I remembered watching this anime till 4th episode then I quit.
Too boring, childish...=.= however I just recently read a doujinshi about Lina, and gotta love the cheer leader! She is HOT! Now, just for Lina, I'm painfully trying to finish this anime again. Hope I'll come out alive after watching this, because it's just SO BAD!!! Heroman, you are a fat marshmallow, and Joey, just admit that you're actually a girl.

First I must thank you for bumping this I've wanted to talk to ppl (anyone) about this anime, but with out anyone else around I was sad face >_>

Second, while I don't agree with your out look on the series, I must urge you to finish it before passing any final judgment please. I've said it before myself that this is a childish anime, but just cuz I am physically not 10yrs old anymore means I can't watch and enjoy this show? If you don't like the entire concept of a young boy fighting against invading aliens with the help of a giant robot then ok, but if that kind of series interests you the slightest at least give Heroman a chance ok ^_^
