Hellsing OVA 7

Heya guys, I've just watched the Hellsing OVA 7 trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i7-So-sDCY

I have to say that I'm quite dissapointed 'cause, at least from the trailer I get the impression that Alucard will be missing for the most part.

Can anyone tell me if Alucard will get more than 2 minutes of screen-time in OVA7?... or will he be there just briefly like in OVAs 5-6?

You know that Alucard's not really the main character, right? :|

But no, as far as I remember, Alucard should still be on a boat in this one. He may decide to show up in the middle and be badass, but I can't be entirely sure.

WTF what do you mean he's not the main character?... I always had the impression that he and Seras were the main characters. Even wikipedia says so.

Anyway, I remember he was slowly sailing towards Britain with the ship, so I hope he gets there in OVA 7 and butcher everyone who gets in his way.

OVA 7 is gonna be fuckin epic, can't wait to see the Vatican swooping in and doing their massacre thing while the Major does his shit up on his zep, awesome shit.

Alucard most likely won't be in OVA 7 (can't remember exactly how the manga went around here), if he is it won't be much, probably at the end or something.

Hellsing without Alucard just isn't the same in my opinion.

Hellsing isn't just about Alucard.

Dude at least this Ceras is badass compared to the her other anime counterpart and most of any other anime girls out there.

I think in the manga that Alucard shows up around the time Maxwell orders the massacre of the protestant survivors. For those who haven't read the manga, I'll try not to spoil much, but when Alucard does show up, he literally soaks up every single drop of blood on the streets of London.

For those who are saying that Hellsing is nothing without Alucard, I move to disagree. Seras has been sitting in the sidelines for the first few OVA's, and mostly because the struggle with her humanity and her new-found inhumanity is not something that most viewers find interesting to watch. However the development has been there, very subtle at first. OVA 7 looks to be like that pinnacle point a lot of us have been waiting to see from her. The fight between her and Zorin was absolutely amazing to read, and I am very excited to be watching that moment. Especially looking forward to the climax of emotions between Pip and Seras, which is another development that I have been anxious to see.

Well, Alucard is not THE main character in Hellsing of course, but he's one of the main protagonists. Which is why I was hoping he'd get more screen time :D

But I'm really curious about how Seras' and Pip's relationship goes, and especially about the fight between her and Zerin. No doubt it will be awsome. But Alucard coming and wiping everything out... now that will be better than a blowjob.

I'm curious, however, how Seras gets her arm crushed and then regenerates it in a manner similar to Alucard (with that dark red/black aura thingy). My guess is because she got bitten by Alucard (the first and most ancient of vampires) and thus became a "genuine" vampire, so to speak. Unlike most other Hellsing vampires, which are engineered through research and experiments.

Well every OVA comes out around 6-8 months, from what I've been reading on the net.
I read somewhere that they will be releasing 6-7 in 2009, 8-9 in 2010 and The Dawn in 2011.

The trailer looks sweet but I wish the OVAs would come out faster.

So it does that I haven't either, needless to say of the 6th as well.

I've just finished watching episode 6 and have to say that I can't wait for the 7th to be released.
And also have to ad that i'm surprised about how much the other anime differs from the manga. I haven't read the manga but since this OVA series is supposed to follow the original story more closely I can only imagine how good the manga is. Should probably go buy it, hmm...

Just torrent it or something. It's quite a big file, but worth the wait.

I could do that, or I could support the author and the distributor by paying for it. AND I would get the satisfaction of having it in my bookshelf.

Yup, nothing beats that feeling.

Now, after having watched OVAs No. 5 and 6, I must say I'm amazed at how different Hellsing Ultimate and the first anime are.
