Holy shit, this is for realz. It's like Left 4 Dead + Japan + love/comedy = win. Apparently the mangaka will resume the manga in March. I'm totally looking forward to this.

Anyone explain how this isn't just another zombie movie. I think they made like 20 movies with the same story in the 80s. I'm not condeming the series, just asking what makes people think this is going to be good or that I should watch it.

For me, it's my inexplicable love of the zombie apocalypse genre. Add to the fact that the manga was awesome and it's a winner in my eyes.

Only zombie Loan, and that's not about an apocalypse.. This is going to be the FIRST Zombie apocalypse anime that will be made.
Lol even MYanimelist doesn't have a Tag for "zombies", only Vampires. :P
People think it's good, because these people have already read the manga and many liked the story in it.

With the author putting the manga on hiatus (it still is, right?), I really doubt the anime will skyrocket.
But just because shitty writers will make the story turn for the worst when they reach the top of the manga, doesn't mean that it's not gonna be a good watch though.
I'm willing to watch up to the part where the manga halts. All episodes after that part, i'll pretend I never even saw.
