HOLY THUNDERTHIGHS - Hatsune Miku's 2nd concert March 2011

For those of you who care, if you already didn't know: Recently it was announced on the official Project DIVA website regarding the Hatsune Miku live concert which will be taking place in Tokyo on March 9th 2011. The event will be held at ZeppTokyo Music Hall just like earlier this year.

I really wish I could go but there's no way I will be able to afford it because it is so close to the time. They need to learn to share and do a worldwide concert - they could make so much money and at the same time make us fans happy. Tickets are ï¿¥5,390 each and go on sale 2010/12/27. I am a huge vocaloid fan, while some of you probably aren't. But this is news to me.

This is so awesome! I'm a huge Vocaloid fan, I just wish I was in Japan right now haha. Hopefully they'll bring Miku and company over to the states sometime in the future :D

Oh, and Leek glow sticks are fucking win

I itch so hard when I watch those videos because I want to see how they truly do that holographic projection. I've researched about it, but according to what I learned, the projection angles of miku would only look correct to the camera shooting it, and weird to most of the people in the audience.

Would love to see this live, my friend showed me it not that long ago and it's so cool! :) @Kuroneko1/2 From what I've learned about it, the holographic system uses a super computer system and the animations are placed onto 3 huge LCD screens then the projections are made using lazers. It's like the best invention ever lol.

While Gorillaz did this earlier I'm really impressed in how fast technology is going! This is something to look forward to.

So that means book some hotels, flights, car rentals and whatever else is needed in order to see it. I am so down for it.

Dont forget the glow sticks guys! Someone must be living of selling them outside the concert hall or something!
